Changed floorplan

Large changes await you this Easter. When you arrive at The Gathering this year, you will find the stage in the middle of the "Viking ship".

After having the stage in the northern end of ’skipet’ for several years, it’s now being moved. The new floorplan will make sure that this event will be an even better experience for everyone that are celebrating Easter at The Gathering in Hamar.

Our goal was to locate the stage in a more central area of the ship, while not having to shrink each participants' table space (80x60cm) nor having less participants attend The Gathering.

Moving the stage is done mainly because we want to make it easier for the participants to watch the activities being held at the stage. Jørgen Vigdal, the Event:Organizer for TG10, lets us know that the changes to the floor plan will not only lead to the stage being closer to the audience. If you’ve ever felt that finding a place to sleep at The Gathering is hard, he has good news for you.

- We have freed a whole seating area in the northern end, which can now be used for sleeping, says Jørgen.

The benefits of the new floor plan does not stop there. If you've ever missed anything at TG simply because you didn't know what was going on, the relocation of the stage might be good news for you. This move also creates the opportunity for having larger info displays near the stage. This is done to make it easier for the participants to find the information they need, and hopefully this will contribute to making the event even better for you and everyone else attending TG.

Oh, and just one more thing:

We’ve been watching the forum and are noticing that many of you are planning to modify your table space. We hope to see a lot of creative constructions and decorations, and would also like to remind you of the {cms_selflink page='construction-rules' text='construction rules.'}
