The Creative Gathering - Day 4

We are approaching the final 24 hours of The Gathering, but boy, oh boy, are those 24 hours going to be great! Click to read about all creative compos, lectures and shows today.

Deadlines, Demo and Intro

First of all, let's get the deadlines out of the way. While we don't want you to miss anything this year, we especially don't want you to miss the deadlines! If you're participating in the Intro or Demo competitions, you should have already uploaded your entry. Be sure to have a working party-version uploaded by 16:00. No. Exceptions.

In the lounge

At 13:00 we will show the entries in the Small HTML and Useful Utility compos. Then, at 14:00, we will warm up to the Game Development compo with the Game Awards Hype Warm-up. At 15:00, Tumbleweed Interactive will demonstrate Umami, their newest game. The Hardcore Programming compo will be shown in two parts; at 16:30 and 18:30. Then, at 19:30, we will show the entries in the Themed Concept Art compo.

Scene.org Awards in the auditorium

It's Easter, and it's time for the Scene.org Awards. Go to the auditorium at 20:00 as we show "the demoscene Oscars" live from the Breakpoint party in Germany, with a two-way stream. Grab some popcorn and seat up for this exciting event. Maybe you'll even get a chance to wave and shout to your friends in Bingen, Germany?

On the main stage

Let's put it like this: Show up in front of the main stage at 22:15 and stay put until we say it's OK to leave. We'll show you the very best our partygoers have to offer, as we run a back-to-back showing of Intro, Game Development, Ventelo Graphic Design & Demo compos. As soon the show is over, head on back to the Creative Lounge where you'll breathe a sigh of relief because you made the deadline, as you chat with your fellow creative partygoers. At 02:15, we want you back by the main stage again, as we announce the winners of the final creative competitions this year. Don't miss this!
