The Creative Gathering - day 3

Day three of The Gathering is well under way. In addition to compo shows from the main stage, we'll teach you advanced techniques for making music, programming and lots more in the Creative Lounge! See what we have in store for you today on the main stage and in the Creative Lounge.

We'll have some great compo shows for you today. At 20:00 on the main stage, we will show the Freestyle Graphics compo and the Rendered Graphics compo. As we speak, people are frantically working on their entries for the Fast Intro compo, and this compo will be shown immediately after the graphics competitions.

You'll probably want to grab a chair and seat up in front of the main stage after tonight's wrestling show. Yesterday's Fast Remix competition ran into some technical difficulties, so the competition will be re-run at midnight on the main stage, as soon as possible after the wrestling show is finished. If we have time, we will continue with a demo show with some of the most impressive demos released during the last year. But don't leave just yet, because the first prizegiving ceremony will be held at 01:30 on the main stage.

Of course we'll also have a string of interesting seminars in the Creative Lounge. We'll teach you how to make sweet music with your computer, and even how to write your own software for music playback, along with other advanced programming tips. Check out our separate article on today's seminars.
