First Seminar A Roaring Success

We have just completed our first seminar, and it was a great success, with the Creative Lounge packed with visitors!

Crowded Seminar

Our first seminar made the Creative Lounge a really crowded place, with more people showing up than we strictly had room for. Anders Bondehagen presented a seminar called "Programming 101", detailing basic programming ideas and structures from the point of view of Javascript. The one-hour seminar showcased the many cool things you can do with a basic programming language like Javascript, and served a double duty as an introduction to the javascript-based seminar on Fscript, that is held tomorrow at 18.00 in the Creative Lounge. See the Creative Seminars page for more information on upcoming seminars throughout TG.

Massive Interest

The large amount of interest in the beginner's guide to programming was further reflected in the amount of people who came back to the lounge later, and asked questions of the seminar holder and the other relevant mentors - most of which will be available for the length of the party in the Creative Lounge to help out with any questions and assitance our visitors will need with their contributions for this year's event as well as - hopefully - the years to come.

Sound Issues

If there was one problem with the seminar, it was the sound level. We have already solved this, and all future seminars will not suffer from any shortcomings in this aspect. So, welcome back to the Lounge for more creative, interesting, inspiring seminars for the remainder of TG.
