Win a paid internship at Cisco


Cisco has announced a competition called "MoreTogether" where the main prize is a paid internship.

If you are a full-time undergraduate student within Europe, studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related technical field, you can participate.

Participate by including all the following in an email to euciscoprize@external.cisco.com :

  • A personal video: no longer than 60 seconds, telling us why you would like to win The Cisco MoreTogether Prize
  • Brief written answers in English to the following questions: 
    • What are, in your opinion, the key obstacles to wide-spread adoption of IPv6, and when will they be overcome?
    • Describe the social semantic web
    • What is the workplace going to look like in ten years?
    • What does 'MoreTogether' mean to you?
  • An up-to-date CV in English including: Name. Email. Address. Country. Phone numbers, degree being studied. University you are attending. Your expected graduation date. Your availability during the summer 2010 for the internship i.e. 1st of June  to 30th of September.
  • Specify which of their offices that would be your placement preference: UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway.
Prizes will be awarded to the students who demonstrate the best mix of skills, qualifications, aptitude and attitude for the internships.

Deadlines

You must email your application to the euciscoprize@external.cisco.com by 21st of May 2010.
All applicants will be notified if they have been short-listed by 11th of June. If you are short-listed, you will then have a brief phone interview with representatives from the Cisco MoreTogether Prize Committee. Award winners will be notified by 2nd of July.
