Hi all TG-enthusiasts!

The Gathering has a crew ombudsman, Ingvild Myhre, and her job is to ensure that YOU as a volunteer feel good.

I'm Ingvild Myhre and is the Crew Ombudsman for TG10, I was also Crew Ombudsman by TG08 and TG09. I was selected by the last year's crew, and are representing the voice of crewmembers in the management team. I am also the person to come to if you need someone to talk to. With me, I have a sociality and recruitment manager who is responsible for Crew For A Day and social things the crew do together before, during and after The Gathering.

My job is incredibly funny, I have the honor of getting to know many of the approximately three hundred volunteers who each year organize this wonderful event. There are many reasons to travel on TG. We have a very good cohesion and it connects many new contacts and friendships that crew member.

You do not need all kinds of computer knowledge to join the crew, we have many crew who have very little to do with the data. For example, Crew Care taking care of the crew members at the cooking and keep our rest room cozy. The most important thing is that you are enthusiastic and willing to work, that you simply want to do something for yourselves and for others.

We have fields in the crew as example tech, event, and security / medic. Here they have jobs that require varying base of experience, and ability to learn are many. Crewmembers who attach their experiences on CV's notice that this is perceived positive for potential employers. So there is no reason to not be a part of the crewmembers, most people have even time to nerd, hanging with other friends in the audience and take advantage of the offers we have on the TG.

So come on and post your application on wannabe.gathering.org, and be familiar with all the wonderful friends in my crew! :)

If you have questions I can be contacted at co@gathering.org.
