How to make a demo

Håvard from the demo crew held a lecture on demo production and who can do it in the auditorium.
Perhaps you thought that it requires high mathematical skills to create a demo? Graphic artists and musicians are very much needed to make a good demo, and more people cooperating on a project makes a better product. At the bottom of things there must be a coder involved, but there is also room for other artists. Håvard explains the coding a bit more throughroughly as it is what he's working with in the Rebels demo group. Demos are being coded in Visual Studio, delphi, GCC and others, and they should work with a graphic engine. Because a demo is a program, the coder must know how the graphic card responds and what he can get out of it. The whole lecture can be downloaded here (Norwegian only)
