Elina Melteig Held a lecture in the auditorium about her studies at the UiO, and explainer generally about nano technology and what we can expect to see in the future og nano science.
Erlend S. Bauer from Hyperion held a lecture in the auditorium about Hyperions work, and how you can get paid for playing games.
Friday at 12:00, mathematician Kristian Gjøsteen from the NTNU university in Trondheim arrives to explain prime numbers, cryptography and security concerning this.

Get ready to experience next generation massive multiplayer online gaming live at The Gathering. On Wednesday 24:00 viking, err, Norwegian developers from Funcom will be present at the main stage to show off the game in all its glory and will also be available to answer questions afterwards. By Crom, you better be there!
Quite a few extreme overclockers have in later years attended TG. There have even been some world record attempts in the Vikingship earlier years. This year there is a whole row dedicated to people who spend their time pushing their computer equipment to the limit. We had chat with the group to see what this is all about.
