(We would like to stress that this is not the final compo-list, and that more competitions will likely be added, so please do not flood our mailboxes with requests for compos - chances are that we have already gotten a million similar requests already :)

Participating:
Everyone who want to participate in ANY of our competitions, must be registered at Partyticket.net. In the case of our demoscene-competitions, all contributions must be delivered through the ZEPO-server located in the hall during the party. You do not have to pre-register to attend any of the demoscene-competitions, but you do need to deliver your contribution before the deadline.

We know that there are a lot of talented sceners out there who, for some reason or another, cannot attend the party. Several people have asked us about an option to deliver their contributions over the Internet.
As a result, after much discussion, the merry men of The Gathering democrew have decided to allow contributing by email in the following compos:

* Combined demo (Amiga, PC, Mac)
* Combined 64k intro (Amiga, PC, Mac)
* Wild/animation

However, our policy on this matter is the following: Contributing to making a great scene party is not "just" about delivering awesome productions to the compos. It is also about mingling with the crowd, partying with your fellow sceners, and sharing your knowledge and skills.
As a result, we've decided that contributors that don't come to the party will receive half the prize money. We want to see your production at The Gathering, but we also want to see your face. To participate in the game-competitions you must also be registered in the ZEPO-system, and your team must also be pre-registered in good time before a compo takes place. More information about this will follow.
