The Gathering 2007 Still Puzzled?

The winner takes it all

Rikke aka Mulm is 20 years old, and TG07 is her 6th The Gathering. She comes to The Gathering to feel the TG spirit, and to compete in the creative compos.

This year, just like in 2006, she won both of the graphical compos ( Theme Graphics and Freestyle Graphics ), and she also won the Fast Intro.

This year she won 22000 NOK, but she's telling that she's not going to The Gathering because of the money. "It's the spirit in Vikingskipet that is so fantastic, and I don't live in a hotel, because I want to attend The Gathering for all it's worth, and that includes sleeping in the sleeping areas during the party, but ofcourse it's fun to win the compos too."

As a big favourite this year, no one was surprised when she won both of the graphical compos, but Mulm wasn't sure of the win before Optimize wanted her up to the stage to collect her prize.

"It was many very good contributions this year, and I thought if I lost, it still would be a winner who deserved it"

Next year she'll return to The Gathering to compete again, if she's not going to Breakpoint. She wants to compete down there some day, but she thinks it's still to early to compete against the best graphic designers in the computer society.
