The Gathering 2007 Still Puzzled?

Kåre and The Lost Groove

Since the dawn of time, people have been hitting stones together to make some noise, often joined by more people forming what we know as a band. These bands were formed with a single goal in mind: to recover The Lost Groove. As soon as somebody started banging their stones together, a rivaling group started making pottery, which turned out not only to be more efficient at hunting down grooves, but also to be an extraordinary cool way to attract the love of the ladies. However, one beatiful morning in the cave, a woman was so sick of her husband efforts to fit his head inside one of these pots, that she covered the pot with some cloth.

Enter the drum.

You see, stones banged together, even the rolling kind, is nothing compared to a drum! The drum started a revolution and 13333337 years later, here we are, emulating the sound of that particular old drum with the most advanced technological wonder ever to be created by man; a computer. The tool of the trade have changed, but the goal is still the same, to find The Lost Groove (and let’s not forget: to attract the love of the ladies).

Since the beginning of The Gathering, back in the ancient days when our sophisticated drum machines were, in fact, built by using drums, a rumour has been spreading: Kåre must be found and sacrified in order to recover The Lost Groove. The search have now become so desperate that people have started shouting his name hoping he will hear their desperate prayer and return to planet Earth. They even went to The dark side of Pluto, but what they found doesn’t even qualify as a planet.
