Friday at 12:00, mathematician Kristian Gjøsteen from the NTNU university in Trondheim arrives to explain prime numbers, cryptography and security concerning this. Today, prime numbers are used to secure data communications over the internet. Why prime numbers are used, how they are used to protect data, how prime numbers act and which cryptographic weaknesses Norwegian net bank systems have, that make breaking through the security possible will all be explained in his lecture.
