Pushing the limits - our friends at BaneTele just got even better!

Great news to all you net addicts out there: Our friends at BaneTele, in cooperation with TeliaSonera, will supply us with a 2.9Gbit + 100Mbit/s internet link - giving us a w000pping 3Gbit/s to play with this year!

This bandwidth will be supplied through BaneTele's nationwide fiberoptical network, comprising more than 13 000 km of fiber deployed all the way through Norway

As you might remember, the internet link at The Gathering 07 was 2Gbit/s. This means that BaneTele has gone even further than last year to give you the bandwidth you deserve! ;-) The Gathering will always try to push the limits wherever possible. We are very proud of cooperating with BaneTele to give you more and more bandwidth to play around with every year!

Our Tech:Crew hope that this increase in available bandwidth will be appreciated! They are already looking forward to see all those fancy graphs peeking at their maximum value :-)
