: Please, PLEASE don't make the voting system
: at TG98 as it was on TP7!
: The votekeys that everyone got at the entrance were
: stolen by other groups and cheating followed.

This is just a really silly question to ask. How
could possibly "cheating-proof" systems be made?
There's ALWAYS away around them, either one has
to hack them or steal vote pwd's/disks or whatever.
Besides, cheating is the other half of the perticipating
in compos and it's fun aswell. Many things in life
are MEANT to be unfair, and this is one of those
things.

: The main reason for this was that everyone HAD to vote
: via TP7's WWW-homepage online at the party, and almost all
: amiga-users couldn't vote..

Well, it's actually POSSIBLE to hook up to the network,
and use the TCP/IP stack for amiga's aswell.
There's several www browsers for the AMIGA.

: A better solution would be to make the voting-procedure as
: at Icing'97, Sweden. Where everyone got an account at the entrance on their
: vote-server. The backdraw was that everyone had to stand in long lines to vote
: on the vote-network-connected computers. One solution is to place many vote-computers to
: avoid VERY long lines.

Bad solution if you ask me. This is both stupid
and quite impossible (remember, there's aprox. 3000
POTENTIAL voters at tg98 =)

regards, dreamer/sublogic and TPOLM

(remebers ; Vote stealing is ART)
