Cool stuff for TG98 sceners

Hi there

I'd like to bring some cool stuff to TG98.
Let's list it in disorder :

- Arcade games (simulators and cabinets. Games like Daytona racing, Virtua fighters 3, House of Dead, Tekken 3, Touring Rallye, Snowboarders, Harley Davidson Challenge, Judge Dredd, etc ...

- Digital Equipment Corp :
bring the latest Alpha workstations and run cool programs on them ( mainly 3D stuff like Softimage & Lightwave )
I could also convince official DEC representati es to come to the party too . Could be interesting contacts for people willing to have job opportunities ...or whatever ...?

- Compaq ... same speach as for DEC

- Softimage
Do official presentation of their 3D software , with possible relation with arcade games. IE :make real time demo of Softimage using Virtua Fighters 3 original scenes, etc ...

- CIS / Lightwave
same speach as for Softimage

- Kinetix / 3DS MAX2
same as above

Depending on how soon all this could be organized (if possible at all ! 8) ), those companies COULD, i repeat COULD also be sponsors.
Sponsors doing what ?
Well, in addition to bringing cool animations to the party, it MIGHT be possible to convince them to give some prizes.
Prizes like Original software licences ( Softimage 3.7 SP1 , 3DS MAX2, LW 5.5 ), hardware ( Alpha station, Compaq Pro Workstation, powerfull openGL boards, whatever ... )
And from the arcade part maybe, I repeat MAYBE, an arcade cabinet or a real full size pinball.

Well all those propositions are mere suggestions based on my personnal relationships with thoses companies and my wish to add fun/interest to demo parties

For instance, special compos could be organized based on some of these facilities, like racing compos on daytona racing cabinets linked in network, etc ...or whatever...

Please mail me comment about those suggestions, coz if they are to be organized, I must know it VERY SOON, as you can well understands ...
