: How will the Network be structured ?
There will be a 100mbit or GB backbone, and 3x10mbit to every table.
: Will there be normal 10 MBit's Hub's available
: for users or will there be 100/10 MBit's Hub's or
: Will there be 100 MBit switches available to users ?
NOPE.. only 10mbit hubs
: The reason asking is because we are taking with us
: 2 Unix Servers, 2 NT Servers, 1 Netware server and
: 1 Banyan Vines server. We are not sure if we should set up
: a private network between our servers and Workstations, and with
: a small Cisco router, routing outgoing traffic to the TG98 Network.
: What kind of restrictions is there ?
: Can we connect a router to the TG Network
: or can we add our own 100 MB switch to a backbone ?....
: In 1997 we where analyzing the network traffic, and the crash percent
: was amazingly high.... Please say that all awful bandwith wasting game traffic
: will be filtered out this year.

U can not connect a router to the net and all hub's(svitches) has to be aproved by the Tech Crew before it's connected to the Net.
