Comments about TG 97!!!!

Well, I've been thinking about writing some comments about TG97 for about a year now, and here it comes:
Critiscism: ( the critiscism is for educational use only...)
When someone orders a ticket some time before the gathering, they should be able to get reservations when they order, not get stuck in a line, waiting to register their arrival!!! A friend of mine stood in the line for about one hour, with all our tickets to register them. From one of the security people he was told that HE WASN'T ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR OTHERS THAN HIMSELF!!!! THE RESULT OF THIS WAS A GIGANTIC "traffic" JAM inside the Viking ship. Further this caused me and my friends to get stuck in the line for about 2 hours!!!!!!!!!! 2 F****** hours!!! When I eventually got to a computer to register the loudspeaker annouced that: One person may register for more than themselves; This pissed me off!

Suddenly, one of the TG97 days, some band begins playing rock music!!! Who had the "bright" idea of hiring these jerks! When I'm at TG I'm not there for the music, I'm there for the computer! I want to sit there, would like to HEAR my own sound ( you know, sound that comes from MY computer, not the band or the music of some jerk 2 kilometers away!), would like to be able to speak with the person beside me, not being forced to use the IRC for that reason!! I would like to encourage the people that want to go to TG98 that they bring their HEADSETS instead of 10 X 1000W LOUDSPEAKERS!!! This would make the stay at TG98 a more placid and comfortable for the attendents( people there ). Please, please, please......!

Suddenly, in a nice warm hall in the Viking ship, on day 2 or 4 i think, someone turned on the "FRIDGE". The Fridge was the two GIANT doors leading outside. The people that opened these door ( SEVERAL TIMES) caused nothing but despair and a situation close to the movie "ALIVE" ( those poor people trapped upon a cold mountain, FREEZING to death....hint, hint to the organizers of TG )!

Now over to the network!

When appox. 3000 people wants to connect to the network at TG; what happens?
Well, about half of the people CAN'T join!
1/4 of the people trying to connect became continously "disconnected" because of QUAKE? fanatiscm. Please do something about this. I sat on row 2! On day 2 or 3 the problems began building up. I sat, rather happy, playing a game of WARCRAFT 2 with 5 others, SUDDENLY they all fell out. We tried again and again and again, but failure. I even had problems connecting to my neighbour.
It's like being a peasant attacked by a horde of Ogres with bloodlust, You can't seem to get away to make things work!

Well, maybe it's time for some positiv feedback:
uh...... *gurgle* ...kidding!

I want to thank those organizing TG for making it happen. Although there has always been problems, but they've been fixed. I would like to thank the CRUSADERS for the great time I had at TG96 and A great HURRAH for the Tech Crew's work! For me they did nothing, but I didn't need them anyway....(just had to)

Improvements to the TG 98:
Please make the competence of the TECH crew better. Some of the TECH people hadn't a clue about Network problems. 4 of 25 ( this is a fictional number for examplary use only....) TECH members were constantly in work, and the rest only sent people to the 4 others. It shouldn't be that way...uh...cool....

Have to go now, maybe I'll continue my educational use only - file... later.... Bye!
