: I think it's a disgrace that girls have to pay to enter. This
: is an old scene tradition,

Started by us as far as I can recall.

: and just proves that CRS values money over
: scene culture. What, you thought there were too many girls last year?

Well, part of the problem is that we do not have room for more than 4000 people, and we believe
that more than 4000 people will want to participate at TG98. Now, what would you say if you couldn't
get a ticket because 1000 of the 4000 people at TG are girls that came just because there was free entrance anyway?

: Or is it just that you have eyed yet another opportunity to squeeze money out of
: the TG concept.

Of course, we have to look at the economics as well. We pay our rent based on how many people that showed up,
and we pay just as much for girls as we do for boys. This rent is higher that the entrance price for girls, so
we actually lose money for each girl that buys a ticket.
Now, we don't mind sponsoring girls this way, because we want to get more girls into the scene. But it feels kinda strange
to be accused of beeing cheap when we're actually giving away money.
