:: This proposition will probably not get too much support, but anyways..:
:: How about throwing a Web-design compo?

: There *will* be a web-design compo.. It will be called an
: HTML-compo.
Kewl... i saw nothing of the kind last time i checked!

:: There are enuff skilled HTML-coders around to get a good compo..
: Lets rephrase that: "There are enough people who think they know
: web-design and HTML".. ;-)
BULL!! Shure there are many that think they know HTML, but there
are actually quite a few SKILLED HTML'ers round. No kidding!
(I'm not one of them)

:: And i wonder why there are no Java/ActiveX compos this year...
: 1) Java/ActiveX didnt get many contributions last year...
: 2) ActiveX is made by Mickey$oft.. Java is made by Sun but
: Mickey$oft are trying to destroy it - so which Java should
: be allowed? Real Java (Sun)? V1.0? V1.1? Or should we opt for
: the Mickey$oft-Java?

If Java/ActiveX is taken up again this year, we ought to go for
Sun JDK java! but it will be no dissappointment if ther won't be
a java compo, an ActiveX compo or either.
