Vikingskipet in Hamar, represented by commander Carl of the Pink Bananacommando, has scrubbed decks and are ready for new raids on the cold oceans of World Wide Web. To mark the occation the scurvy sailors aboard have chosen to sail beneath the correct flag, adjusted to the use of the ship in easter.
Commander Carl bordered the ship and hoist the flag in the main pole with a big cheer from both crew and passengers, declaring his command.
The flag measures about 3x4 metres, and is produced off of copyright-protected materials. The production in itself was performed by the ships best sailmakers, and the result is irreproachable. The motive is the internationally recognized "Pirat flag" (skull and crossbones), modified to add a VG-logo to salute to our friends in media.
The commander utters accordingly: "Yarr!" and "Avast!".
We thank VG for the not-so-catchy name, "The Pirate ship".
To be accreditated as press during The Gathering 2009, the press must not forget using their wooden leg, to dressing in their pirate costumes and remembering the eye patches. further on the press is required to yell "ARGH!" while contineously jumping up and down on one leg.
For those in the press arriving in own pirate ships, owen-fresh muffins with cokes will await them.
