Win the PS3 at The Gathering
Saturday afternoon is Playstation 3 afternoon in the Auditorium here at The Gathering 2007.
Today from 15:30 to 17:30 is PS3 afternoon with IBM and HW.no. First, IBM will show the PS3 with Blu-Ray and games and then turn it in to a supercomputer and after this "HW.no: Career" will talk about career opportunities and finally draw a winner of a brand new Playstation 3!
The PS3 was (as we all know) released recently in Europe, but our guest speaker from IBM has had the tough challenge to play with it a month before it was out…
During the show a "fresh" PS3 will be taken out of a box and demonstrated running a few games and a BluRay DVD, but the real strength in the machine is really the Cell BE processor, which is a new innovative way of building CPU's. In fact, if you had the Playstation 3 in 2002, you would be the owner of one of the fastest computer installations in the world!
Then "HW.no: Career" will do a presentation about career opportunities and directions. This show will be hosted by Rolf Lindgren, who is a psychologist and java developer.
