Lottery

Like previous years we will use a lottery system to handle the ticket sales. This solution is chosen to make the process more fair.

From this date you will be able to sign up for the lottery at geekevents.org.

By signing up you will be given a random spot in the queue when the ticket sale starts. Remember that it does not matter when you sign up, so long as you do so before the lottery ends. After this you will not be able to sign up until the ticket sales have started. Then you will be the last in line.

Early in the morning on the 9th you will receive an e-mail with your queue number and when you have access to the store.

NB. You do not reserve your seat when you buy a ticket. Your seat is reserved at a later time, info will be here, at Gathering.org as soon as it is ready. This is done so that you may sit with your friends, even though you buy tickets separately.

Five per person

When you are given access to the store, you can buy a total of five tickets for your self and your friends. However, as of this year a single participant can only use a maximum of two tickets.

For this to work, we need to know who will be using the tickets when you order your tickets. This is done in Geekevents and if you have any problems, please contact their customer support.

Tickets

All the tickets will of course provide access to The Gathering and to enter in all our competitions. Unless you are situated outside of Norway or want to be seated in our Creative Lounge, you want the Participant's ticket.

Note that all ticket prices are in NOK.

This is the regular ticket for participants who want a seat at TG14. Membership in KANDU is included. You will be able to enter in all compos with this ticket.

Price: 1050,-

This is the regular ticket for all other foreign participants that want a seat at The Gathering 2013. Proof of residence outside of Norway will be required - a recent letter to your foreign residence will suffice. You can enter in all competitions with this ticket.

Price: 525,-

This will provide a seat for you in the Creative Lounge, a dedicated area in Vikingskipet. This is for our creative participants, such as musicians, graphic designers, demo coders, game designers and hardcore programmers from all over the world.

This tickets are for those of you who attend TG to enter in creative compos and attend seminars. You can enter in all our competitions with a Creative Ticket, not only the creative ones.

To buy this ticket you need to write a short application in which you explain why you are interested in it. A good application includes links to works you have done in the past (demos, artwork, music etc.) and a description of them. You write the application in Geekevents.

Price: 1050,-

If you want to spend your next Easter following creative pursuits, meeting new people and learn new skills this is the ticket for you. A Creative Ticket provides you a seat in Creative Lounge.

The Creative Lounge is an area of Vikingskipet dedicated to creative participants, such as musicians, graphics artists, demo-coders, game-designers and hardcore programmers from all over the world.

To order this ticket you have to write a short application where you explain why you're interested in this ticket. The ticket demands that your primary intention at The Gathering is creative events such as demo shows, seminars and creative competitions. You write the application in Geekevents.

Note that you may order this ticket even if you are new to the creative community at The Gathering. You may participate in all competitions with this ticket.

This is the ticket for participants who don't need a huge workspace this Easter, and perhaps are only planning on bringing a laptop. The Creative Lounge has sofas, chairs and tables enough for you and your laptop all Easter.

The Creative Lounge is a dedicated area to creative participants; musicians, graphicians, demo coders, game designers and hardcore programmers from all over the world.

This ticket are for participants who come The Gathering to participate in creative competitions and seminars. With this ticket you can participate in all compos, not only the creative ones.

To buy this ticket you need to write a short application describing why you are interested in this ticket. You write the application in Geekevents.
