The Gathering Street Fighter 4 is a tournament open to all participants at TG14! There will be a total of up to eight tournaments spread over four days with room for a maximum of 32 participants at a time. The matches will be BO1 which means that there is only one chance to move on. The eight winners of each tournament will play in the play-off rounds there is BO3.

Participant sign up will be set up by the Tekken / Street Fighter 4 area of ​​TG at least one hour before tournament start. A player may register more than one time. Tournament times and information will be posted on TGs official website.

Super Street Fighter 4 Ruleset

1   General

1.1 The Tournament referees are the Game Crew. They will have the last word in all situations. The decisions taken by the referees shall over-ride any rule found within this document.

1.2 The referees shall have the right to change, add to or delete any rule within this document at any time without notice to the participants. We encourage you to check the rules regularly to ensure that you are following the most up to date rules.

1.3 By entering the competition, all entrants confirm that they agree to follow the rules, and that they understand that the referees shall have the final word within the competition.

2   Rules

2.1 Rounds: 3

2.2 Time Limit: 99

2.3 Map: Random

2.4 All participants must sign up at least one hour before the tournament start. A player may register more than one time.

2.5 Matches will be best of 1 (BO1), finals will be best of 3 (BO3)

2.6 The loser of a match is allowed to change character, if desired. The winner must continue to play the same character.

2.7 There will be no handicap.

2.8 All characters are allowed.

2.9 Turbos and macros are not allowed.

2.10 You may bring your own controller.

2.11  If both players want to play from the same side, the side each will take will be determined by Rock, Paper, Scissors.

2.12 Both team Captains are required to report the match results.

3   Cheating

3.1 Misuse of bugs, errors or flaws in the game that give you an advantage, or any other form of cheating is not allowed.

4   Warnings

4.1    A player may get a warning if he does any of the following:
4.1.1 Refusal to follow the instructions of any game administrator.
4.1.2 Arriving late to the game or missing a game.
4.1.3 Using foul language and/or displaying poor behaviour.
4.1.4 Behaving in an unsportsmanlike manner.

4.2    A player may be disqualified for one of the following:
4.2.1 Getting more than a warning.
4.2.2 Any act of intimidation, bullying, or violence (physical or verbal) against participants, observers or game administrators.
4.2.3 Using cheats or other unfair gaming tactics (i.e. interruption of opponent, physical blocking, exploits, cheat codes, etc.).
4.2.4 Misleading a judge.
4.2.5 Not being present when a game is due to start.
4.2.6 Exploiting any bugs that clearly alter the game's functionality.
