Starcraft II - Heart of the Swarm

Starcraft 2 is the sequel to StarCraft: Brood War, one of the biggest games in E-Sports history. The game was launched 27th July 2010, but even in the beta-version, large tournaments were held. Since the launch, the interest in StarCraft 2 has increased, and one of the highlights in the west was DreamHack Winter 2011 with Day[9] as an announcer. Later, big Korean names from Brood War times entered the StarCraft 2 universe. This year, the expansion "Heart of the Swarm" (HOTS) was released, expanding upon the popular game.
At this years The Gathering, two different Starcraft 2 tournaments will be held. One 2 vs 2 tournament and one 4 vs 4 Monobattle tournament. These will be played on different days so everyone can enjoy both tournaments, however the both finals will take place on Saturday.
