Remember to apply for Crew for a day!

5. Apr 12:00 / Marcus Irgens

The deadline for Crew for a day application is getting closer by the hour. If you want to apply, send a mail to cfad@gathering.org!

Would you like to spend a day behind the scenes? The Gathering is much more than gaming, coke and candy. The CFAD participants can choose which crews they want to test their skills in, and will spend the entire day working with us - they are treated like every other crew member.

Kristoffer Nes Langemyhr was a CFAD participant in 2007, and in an interview with TheNewsGathering he tells us that it was a nice and different experience from being an ordinary TG participant. "First, I visited Tech:Support. It was quite interesting, I even managed to solve a couple of the problems the participants had. After that, I was moved to the Event:Vision crew, where I joined one of the crew members in filming the entire hall. It was a blast, I've never filmed anything before, so it was a new and different experience."

Do you want to be crew for a day? Send us a mail at cfad@gathering.org, where you introduce yourself and explain why you will be a great fit for the TG crew, and what crews you want to apply for (up to five), in preferred order. Some of the crews require special skills or experience, so you should also include such skills, if applicable.

The application deadline is Monday, April 6th, at midday (12:00). After this, we will start replying to applicants -- you will get an answer no later than the end of Wednesday, April 8th.
