Assignment

Task

You will make a logo and an advertisement for Luna Travels, a travel agency which sells holiday trips to the Moon.

Campaign goal

Promote the Moon as an exclusive travel destination.

Format

Full page for print in newspapers and/or magazines.

Evaluation criteria

The jury will only evaluate the design and visual expression.

Participants are free to choose which parts of the sample text they want to use, or change it as necessary.

Rules

  1. Hand-in

    Entries in this competition must be delivered through the web-based compo system.

  2. Allowed formats

    • PNG (.png)
    • JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg)
    • Portable Document Format (.pdf)

    We recommend that if you deliver your entry as an image, please deliver it as PNG as it is a lossless format. If you want to deliver your entry as JPEG that's naturally fine with us, but don't be cheap on the quality setting.

  3. Originality

    In this compo you are allowed to use elements not made by you (fonts, clip-art, photos etc.), but you are still not allowed to use copyrighted material for which you do not own the rights yourself.

  4. Deciding a winner

    The winner will be chosen by a jury.

  5. Number of entries per participant

    One entry per participant. Co-productions are allowed. If multiple people cooperate on a picture, neither will be allowed to hand in other entries.

  6. No-go limit

    The compo will be held if we receive 3 or more entries. If not, this compo may be cancelled.

  7. General rules

    The general rules for the Gathering 2009 creative competitions apply to this compo.
