The Gathering 2007 Still Puzzled?

En del av å dra på TG er å faktisk komme seg dit. Derfor har vi lagt ut litt nyttig informasjon om diverse transportmuligheter.

Reise med fly Om du ønsker eller må fly til området, foreslår vi at du skaffer billetter til fly som går til Oslo Gardemoen (OSL) da den er nærmest og det er en direkte togforbindelse derfra til Hamar. Om du flyr til Sandefjord lufthavn, Torp (TRF) må du ta en buss til Sandefjord, Tønsberg eller Oslo og så ta en buss eller tog derfra (se instruksjoner nedenfor).

Reise med tog Det går tog til Hamar. Avstanden mellom togstasjonen i Hamar og Vikingskipet er ca 2 km, så vi foreslår at man burde ta en taxi eller maxitaxi om ikke man pakker så lett at man kan gå. For informasjon om rutetider osv, vennligst sjekk www.nsb.no og vennligst ta en titt på egen notis angående det å reise med tog til/fra TG.

Reise med bil Om du ønsker å kjøre til TG med bil, sjekk ut www.visveg.no (funker bare med start- og endepunkt i Norge) eller www.gulesider.no. Om du kommer fra utlandet, sjekk www.mapblast.com for ruteplanlegging.

Transportation to Hamar

A part of attending the party is actually getting there. Therefore we are providing some useful information about several ways to get there.

(Please note that the information on these pages is provided "as is" from the different people arranging transport to TG. We cannot guarantee that the links herein contain correct information and we do not take any responsibility if a trip you signed on to is cancelled or such.)

Going by plane If you are planning to come to TG by plane, we suggest that you book your ticket to Oslo Gardemoen (OSL) as there is a direct train connection to Hamar from there. If you decide to fly to Sandefjord Torp, you will have to catch a bus to Sandefjord, Tønsberg or Oslo and then take a bus or a train from there (instructions below).

Going by train There are trains that goes to Hamar. The distance between the train station in Hamar and the viking ship is approximatly 2 km, so we suggest taking a taxi or maxi taxi or walk if you are packing light. For information about timetables etc, please check www.nsb.no and please take a look at our piece of information for those planning to travel by train.

Going by car If you want to get to the vikingship by car, check out www.visveg.no (it only works with a start- and end point in Norway) or www.gulesider.no. If you're driving from outside of Norway, try www.mapblast.com.

Going by bus Several providors offers arranged bus trips to the gathering. More information will come soon. If you are arranging a bus trip and want to be included here, please get in touch with vilde on the forum or send an e-mail to info at gathering.org
